There are rivet nuts in diverse sizes and alloys available. In particular, in water sport areas, rivet nuts made of aluminium or stainless steel are very common. Rivet nuts made of NiCu (similar to Monel) are almost not available.



Rivet joints often last longer than screw joints, especially on strong vibration or when thin materials must be fixed durably.
