PC-cable tester

 

This special PC cable tester tests all computer patch cables such as unshielded and shielded Twisted Pair cables or flat data cables with RJ 45 plugs, coax cables with BNC-connectors, USB cables and flat cables with sub-D connectors. Further, adapter cables with different connectors (e.g. RJ 45 to sub-D) can also be tested.


Quick indication of the configuration on the tester display:
  • pass / fail
  • continuity
  • short-circuits
  • pole connection
  • reversed cable pairs
Failures in computer patch cables to other devices can be the reason for trouble in the system. These failures can come up by the time by wear or breakage or already in the production.
This tester has been designed for testing your patch cables as well as for testing small series production of PC cables. Further, you can check the configuration of existing cables, as well as cables against a given configuration
